UPCOMING  EVENTS

Clothing Drive / Soft Goods
Household Items Fundraiser
May 2025

OLC Parish is once again running a fundraiser that will cost you nothing but a few minutes of your time.  We are looking for clean, gently used and resalable items (packed in tall garbage bags):
Clothing – men’s, women’s and children’s – hats, mittens, scarves, ties, socks, purses, wallets, belts, backpacks, costumes, etc.
Shoes and boots
Soft goods – blankets, curtains, towels, sheets, comforters, pillows, etc.

NEW ADDITIONS THIS YEAR (packed in boxes only):
Books
Household goods – knickknacks, kitchen gadgets, glasses, dishes, toys.

This fundraiser is offered to us through Savers Stores.  To clarify the process, the parish IS NOT having a used clothing, rummage or garage sale.  We simply deliver the bags and boxes of donated items to the store and they reimburse us per pound for the clothes, soft goods, and household items that we deliver.

Drop-Off will be at the OLC parking lot garage on Clinton St. (across from the church):
Saturday, May 17 – 4:45 – 6:00 pm
Sunday, May 18 – 7:30 – 9:30 am
Saturday, May 24 – 4:45 – 6:00 pm
Sunday, May 25 – 7:30 – 9:30 am

No amount is too big or too small.  The more we collect, the great the reward. Pick-up arrangements can also be made by calling Sandy Blamowski at 716-823-9080.
THANK YOU!

Bottle & Can Drive

Message from the Diocese of Buffalo regarding
March for Life Survey

Help Us Plan for the March for Life 2026! We’re excited to begin preparing for the next March for Life in January 2026—and we need your input!

WHAT IS THE MARCH FOR LIFE? The Diocese of Buffalo joins hundreds of thousands of Catholics and others in Washington, D.C., participating in a peaceful march of public witness and prayer. Together, we advocate for the protection of pre-born life by seeking to change laws at both the state and federal levels and to build a culture of LIFE. Traditionally we have traveled together by bus, attended the evening Vigil Mass at the Basilica of the National Shrine of the Immaculate Conception, and marched the next day to the Supreme Court Building.

Whether you’ve joined us before or have never attended the March, we want to hear from you! Your feedback will help us shape our plans and make the trip meaningful, accessible, and well-organized for everyone.

👉 Please take a few minutes to complete our short survey:

Please share this message with others—families, students, parishioners, and friends. The more voices we hear, the better our planning will be!
